Helping your animals stay active, comfortable and happy for longer.

Whether your animal is slowing down with age, recovering from an injury or simply doesn't seem quite themselves anymore, gentle McTimoney Veterinary Chiropractic can help improve mobility, reduce discomfort and support long-term wellbeing.

Supporting more than just horses and dogs.

Every animal deserves the opportunity to move comfortably and live well.

Although much of my work focuses on horses and dogs, I've also had the pleasure of treating a variety of other species, including donkeys, alpacas and sheep.

Every animal is unique, which is why I take the time to understand their individual needs, movement and lifestyle before tailoring treatment specifically to them.

My approach remains the same regardless of the species – gentle, thoughtful and always centred around supporting their comfort, mobility and overall wellbeing.

If you have another animal that you think may benefit from chiropractic care, I'd love to hear from you. I'm always happy to discuss your individual circumstances and advise whether treatment may be appropriate, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Every animal deserves individual care.

No two animals are the same, which is why no two appointments are either.

Whether I'm treating a donkey, alpaca, sheep or another species, I always begin by understanding the bigger picture. I'll take time to learn about your animal's history, lifestyle, environment and any changes you've noticed before carrying out a thorough assessment of the way they move.

Every treatment is tailored to the individual animal, using the same gentle, thoughtful approach that underpins all of my work. My aim is always to support comfortable movement, improve wellbeing and help every animal enjoy the best possible quality of life.

From the moment you book, you'll be guided through the process so you know exactly what to expect.

Before your appointment, you'll receive simple preparation advice to help get the most from your visit. During the consultation, I will talk through your animal's history before carrying out a gentle movement assessment, observing them walking and trotting before examining areas of tension or restriction.

Treatment itself is calm and unhurried. Using gentle McTimoney Chiropractic techniques and, where appropriate, soft tissue work or laser therapy, I will tailor each session to your animal's individual needs.

Before leaving, I'll explain what I’ve found, answer any questions and provide personalised aftercare advice, including exercises or massage techniques that you can continue at home.
